Part I: Professional Goals and Self Assessment
Start with the end in mind. Consider the goals you want to achieve as an early childhood professional. What are your highest aspirations for serving children and families? Write two long-term goals in the appropriate “Part One” of the Professional Development Worksheet that reflect NAEYC standards for professional preparation.
Consider where you are now in relation to your long-term goals and aspirations. Reflect on your current knowledge, skills, and experience. Think about your areas of strength and areas for growth, including areas of study and professional interaction that have been most interesting and inspiring to you. Consider this information within the context of each of the following core areas of the early childhood profession:

Safe and Healthy Learning Environments
Physical and Intellectual Development
Social and Emotional Development
Relationships With Families
Program Management
Professionalism
Observing and Recording Behavior
Child Growth and Development

Record your areas of strength, areas for growth, and areas of interest and inspiration for at least three of these areas on the Professional Development Worksheet.
With these areas in mind, formulate three very specific and clear near-term goals—measureable goals that you will achieve in the next 6 months to 1 year. List them on the worksheet. These will be the goals that drive your Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP).
Part II: Research to Inform Professional Development Each of the near-term goals you identified on your Professional Development Worksheet is impacted by the broader landscape of the early childhood field. For example, you may have a goal of initiating advocacy efforts in an area in which new sources of funding are being made available at a national level. Or, it may be an area in which funding is being withdrawn. Understanding how your goals are influenced by current research, policies, issues, and trends can help you to be more strategic in deciding where to focus your professional growth and learning.Consider each of the near-term goals you identified on your Professional Development Worksheet. In “Section Two” of the worksheet, summarize the larger context at the community, state, national, and/or global levels as follows:
Describe at least three examples of current research, policies, issues, and/or trends that inform your near-term goals. Explain how the current research, policies, issues, and/or trends support or impede your ability to reach your goals.
Explain how you can apply your learning about the research, policies, issues, or trends to advance toward achieving your goals.
Part III: Professional Organizations and Resources Whatever the policies, issues, and trends may be affecting the early childhood field, a multitude of professional organizations and resources are available to provide information, training, guidance, and support that can assist you in reaching your professional goals. Reflect on the policies, issues, and trends impacting your near-term goals. Based on this reflection, in “Section 3” of your Professional Development Worksheet, identify at least three professional organizations and resources that would be beneficial in supporting your ongoing development. For each organization and resource selected, include the following:
Name of organization or resource
Website or contact information
Brief overview of purpose of organization or resource
Explanation of how the organization can support achievement of near-term goals

Scenario: Sabio Graduation Supplies has had an unfortunate environmental event

Scenario: Sabio Graduation Supplies has had an unfortunate environmental event: a recent tornado that came through Global Springfield caused major damage to their property, and they are having to rebuild. Fortunately, they were protected by insurance and so are getting ready to build in a new location. They are seeking your help in designing their computer network, which will be a combination of wired and wireless connections. CEO Elina Sabio has explained that they will have two separate buildings:
Building 1 will contain the main offices, some meeting rooms, and a workspace for salespeople when they come back to input orders and update their files. Both wired and wireless will be needed in this building, and a printer will be necessary.
Building 2 will house the inventory and provide space for readying orders for shipping. Workers are expected to use company-owned tablets as they walk through the warehouse section and pull items, but a main wired workstation is still expected, along with a printer for invoices.
Part 1: Network Diagram
Task: Using Visio and the instructions found in the Reading PDF, develop a network diagram.
Examples: Small examples of bus, ring, and other topologies are found in the ebook and the Reading PDF. Larger examples can easily be found online or may be shared by your professor in announcements or Seminar. As every network is different, no single example is appropriate; use your critical thinking and creativity and create your own network design.
Diagram:
Begin with the ”Basic Network Diagram” Visio template.
Use appropriate shapes (images) for each kind of hardware as well as the Internet.
Use lines for cabling or other connections.
Remember to include the Internet, firewalls, routers, and any other necessary hardware as explained in the Reading PDF and identified in the scenario above. Make sure all icons/images are clearly labeled.
Your diagram must clearly show what is in each building. You may opt to diagram each building separately or may put them in the same diagram, as long as it is clear what is housed in each building.
You can use different topologies for different employee groups as long as you have a reason for doing so.
Write: In one paragraph of 75–125 words, identify by name all topologies used and explain why you made these choices. Use concepts and terminology from the reading; there is no need to do further research for this part of the assignment, as the purpose is to simply explain your choices.

Purpose of the Assignment
1. Assist students in clustering assessment data when developing a nursing diagnosis.
2. Develop students’ ability to write client based outcomes when planning care.
Course Competencies
· Explain components of multidimensional nursing care for clients with musculoskeletal disorders.
Instructions
Using the template below, write 3 NANDA-I approved nursing diagnoses in a proper format based on the client case provided below. Write one SMART client-centered goal for each nursing diagnosis. Consider the client’s medical history and medications.
Kacie Benson, a 19-year-old woman, is a client on your unit due to a skiing accident. She is unconscious and may or may not regain consciousness. She is on complete bedrest. She requires frequent repositioning to maintain correct body alignment and attention to her ROM. She responds to painful stimuli with slight non-purposeful withdrawal. No spontaneous movements are noted. The recent lower extremity ultrasound showed no evidence of venous thrombosis, and she continues on low molecular weight heparin injections. Her fluid and electrolyte balance is being maintained by a tube feeding at 60 mL per hour continuously. She is incontinent of stool and has an indwelling Foley catheter. Her heels are reddened, but otherwise, her skin is intact.
Use at least two scholarly sources to support your nursing diagnoses. Be sure to cite your sources in-text and on a reference page using APA format.

Did you know confidence intervals are also used to project reliability in cons

Did you know confidence intervals are also used to project reliability in consumer products? We use confidence intervals in our daily lives, from consumer ratings to election projections. Seeing this data help us make decisions on the best option to choose. If, for example, one brand of refrigerator has a 17% chance of needing repair in the first three years. A different brand may have a 3-year repair rate of 19%. If a footnote says “differences of more than 4% are meaningless,” we can conclude that the repair rates really are not that different! However, any refrigerator with a repair rate more than 4% higher than 17% is more likely to need repair in the next three years.
For this discussion, locate a confidence interval that you have used in your work or professional life.
Provide a link to the data and respond to the following questions.
How did this data help in your decision-making process?
If you had the choice to make that decision again, would you make the same decision and why?
Your paper should be three paragraphs in length. Use current APA formatting to cite your sources.
